Who Am I?

My name is Samantha Gluck.  I am a  mother and wife living in Texas who needs an outlet for thoughts, ideas and newly found devotion to our Lord.  I am a new Christian — I died to this world in December 2008 — and am alive in Christ now.   I am very active — and busy — so I need a place where I can get all this mental energy OUT OF ME!  I love learning new things and having my abilities stretched so as to promote growth out of my comfort zone.  I don’t pretend to be intellectual and of the elite anointed crowd, just a creative active woman that likes to write down ideas, thoughts, and occasionally pieces on a researched subject matter.

Nice blog! Been through Texas a few times heading on mission trips to Mexico! Spent some downtime on South Padre. Whataburger, yum!

Well Sam I have been uplifted by your page! I am just continually amazed by our Lord, watching him work in my life. As I lay myself in his hands and try daily to allow him to take the wheel & drive, he takes to people like you who seemingly come out of now where to move, bless, intrigue and inspire me.

You might find this interesting but this is the first blog page I have ever visited, as a matter of fact your page is so well designed that upon first arriving, I thought that I was at a website. I kept looking for the blog place where your name would be and it took me about five minutes or so before clicking on the who am I link at the top of the page. LOL. Showing my naivety as far as the certain aspects of the internet.

As I suspected from our email’s back & forth on Friday you are a one of a kind. Sweet! I always so enjoy people who are unique, creative and outgoing. I feel honored that you invited me to your page! I am also especially joyful that the Lord has blessed you so richly…Jesus Rocks! Praise the Lord! Being born again is such an awesome journey; I thank God every day that he kept chasing after me & breaking me until I finally “opened the door” and let him in!

Well I suppose I should go and stop babbling on, however I will be leaving some comments on some of your articles and I want you to know that I really enjoyed the Spurgeon quotes. I love spurgeon. I would like to recommend a book that I just know you enjoy very, very much! I would almost say that it should be required reading for all Christians, it’s called “The Ragamuffin Gospel” by Brennan Manning! Fantastic book! Very well written, an easy read and a book that I read over four times and will I am sure, continually go back too as the years go on because it always brings me back to where I need to be, as well as comfort & lift me up.

You & your family will be in my prayers.
May the Lord shine his face upon you!

Thank you for you beautiful and kind words, Ian. I, too, am constantly amazed by the Lord’s work in my life and that of my family. It is so uplifting to come upon another strong Christian in the course of my daily work. What a beautiful blessing!

I don’t know much about Spurgeon, and have just begun reading some of his writings. I will get the book you recommend. I have one to recommend to you that changed my life. It is ‘Intercessory Prayer’ by Dutch Sheets. What a powerful book about prayer.

I feel blessed to have a wonderful new friend and brother in Christ!

Thank you, Effie. Another acquaintance of mine recommended the same book. I will get it (someday). Thank you for visiting. I am so busy with my (money-making) writing that I tend to neglect my personal blog. I haven’t posted in quite a while. I just now came upon your comment. I truly appreciate it. Please visit again.
